  1. Resources Rolodex: Over the years I have tried and tested many, many tools and services to help me maximize productivity and grow my business (and my clients' businesses). I share ONLY those pre-vetted resources that I personally have reviewed and/or used which have not only made the cut, but I find to be the best, based on both what they offer and their value. I share these shortcuts to success only with my private clients because by sharing these I will be saving you many, many hours of research and testing out the hard way.
  2. Upscale Your VA Business Book: My book will be provided as a PDF document which you can download and save on your computer.
  3. 99 Ways to Outsource Your Way to Success: Learn how to educate your potential clients on some specific ways you can assist them in their business. Showing them what you are capable of, they are more likely to take action to work with you. I’ve developed this comprehensive list of 99 projects that a Virtual Support Professional could take off their plate. You can simply customize it with your branding and offer it as a giveaway item on your website. This will definitely help build your mailing list too.
  4. Potential Client Needs Assessment Form: A 'must have' to pre-qualify prospects. I recommend embedding on your website as a requirement to fill out that then redirects to your scheduling link.
  5. Agreement For Services (Sample): Through trial and error I've 'dialed in' the terms favored by clients and which (in my opinion) covers all the bases. Customize as desired and start to work with your new clients without 'scrambling' for ideas of what to include in your contract.
  6. Payment Authorization Form: Send this document to your clients along with your “Agreement for Services" and you will be able to easily process your client payments without having to chase after them every month.
  7. Business Operations Manual: Hands down, this item is the core of my business and it’s a must for yours too. When my clients understand how valuable it is to have their templates, systems, and procedures documented for their business, they are immediately impressed and ready to work with me. You will receive complete guidance and instructions on how to set up and correctly use a manual for the running of both your business and your clients’ businesses.
  8. Email Scripts & Templates: THE #1 MOST VALUABLE RESOURCE!! Why 'reinvent the 'wheel' each time a prospect or client reaches out to you? I'm sharing many of the email scripts and templates that I use in my business to communicate with clients and potential clients.
  9. New Client Procedures Checklist: A checklist you can customize to 'ramp up' working with new clients. By documenting every step just once, it's a breeze to implement time and time again.
  10. New Client Welcome Guide (Business Policies and Procedures): Simply customize with your branding and your policies. Through trial and error I've detailed guidelines for my clients so they understand my policies and procedures and yes, even boundaries. I include this document in my new client welcome kit. In my opinion this document covers all the bases. Customize as desired without 'scrambling' for what to include in your client guide.
  11. New Client Getting Started Form: A form to give your new client so they can provide everything you will need to get started working together. Detailed instructions provided.
  12. Client Feedback Request Form: I include this document in my new client welcome kit. If your client doesn't take action on their own to provide feedback, within 3-6 months, I recommend sending this form to them via email or connecting with them on LinkedIn to request their recommendation there. Be sure to request their permission to add as a Testimonial for your website.

ABOUT JAIMIE SKULTETY

I spent 20 years in corporate America, rapidly advancing from secretary to senior administrator, both in small firms and large companies. During this time I handled every conceivable business task from routine to complex, including many high-level projects. In 2009, although the “virtual world” was in its infancy, being an entrepreneur at heart and recognizing its potential, I launched and operated my first business, A Virtual Assistant 4 You, which I transitioned in January 2013 to Upscale Your Business. I’ve been featured in Savvy Biz Women Magazine (Spotlight Contest Winner), Forbes.com (“Don’t Let Your Business Be Held Hostage” & “How Virtual Assistants Have Evolved”), South Florida Business Journal, South Florida Business Spotlight, and Paycheck to Passion Podcast, and am an active member and a Preferred Partner of the International Virtual Assistants Association. My wide-ranging corporate experience coupled with my innate organizational talents have allowed me to design, implement and manage systems, structures and procedures which help my clientele increase their bottom line.

MY VA COACHING PROGRAM AND AMAZON BOOK

Since I have become successful in this business, many Virtual Assistants have contacted me for advice, suggestions, and guidance. They see my business as an accomplished model which they’d like to emulate. I was happy to offer my help and insights, but it became very time-consuming to respond to all these requests on an individual basis. I decided a solution would be to bring my business-building guidance to the VA community by writing a book and companion online self-study coaching programs.

My VA Coaching website can be viewed at www.UpscaleYourVirtualAssistantBusiness.com. My book is for sale as a hard copy or Kindle version on Amazon at http://bit.ly/UYVABBookReview.

WHAT DRIVES ME

I genuinely enjoy the work I get to do for my clients. I thrive on efficiency. My clients are successful entrepreneurs who have a lot of faith in me and who look to me to help propel them to their next level of success. It’s a privilege to help them elevate their image, highlight their expertise, and spread their message on countless platforms. Staying current on the latest in social media trends and business technology is an ongoing passion, and with my clients in mind, I seek out valuable tools and specific resources to enhance their business.

PERSONAL NOTES

I reside in Lake Worth, Florida. I’ve been married since 2001 to Steve, an Industrial Designer (http://www.I-DrawDesign.com) and we have a son, Spencer, who is enjoying a successful career in High school! Aside from work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, trying new recipes, jigsaw puzzles, cross stitch Scrabble and Words with Friends.

Who is this Program For?
This program is designed to help you to optimize your Virtual Assistant business whether you are just starting out or you’ve been in business for a while, but are struggling to reach the level of success you desire. I’ve provided tools, strategies and resources to help you find and connect with potential clients, keep the clients you are working with and continually market your business almost as if it’s on auto-pilot.
What Sets Yours Apart From Other Virtual Assistant Programs?
There are many programs which offer “kits,” templates, and ‘ all-in-one business in a box.' And these can indeed be quite valuable for your VA business. But just as necessary (I feel) is that once you make the decision to have a VA business, whether newly starting out or have been struggling for a while, I offer very specific guidance on how to BE a ‘ proactive partner’ with their clients. Ultimately I believe it’s the ‘ being’ a VA more so than the ‘ doing’ or the mechanics that will make the biggest impact for you, your clients, and your potential clients. I’ d like to assist VA’ s to ‘ Upscale’ their businesses -- in every aspect. I do this for my clients and I have a lot to share about the experiences that have helped me achieve a 6-figure Virtual Assistant business – and how I accomplished this in less than 5 years. For a long time, although I knew I was an exceptional VA, I still had trouble attracting and keeping clients. Through lots of trial and error, I’ve overcome ALL the obstacles. I’ d like to help other VAs to ‘ shortcut’ their way to success. My self-study program called “Upscale Your Virtual Assistant Business” is designed to assist new or struggling VAs to find and keep clients who will become raving fans, brand ambassadors, and want to stay working with you long-term. The program is offered online and includes 6 modules, 5 workbooks, and 12 bonus items and templates. I’m excited to share this program with you and I’m confident I can help you to ‘Upscale' Your Virtual Assistant Business.
What Challenges Did You Face When You Started Your Virtual Assistant Business?
I was determined to have a business which would meet my personal and financial goals, but there were several challenges I faced in my first few years in business. I had to figure out how to market my services effectively, find and attract my ideal client, and then keep them wanting to work with me for the long-term. On my own, I figured out the ‘ maze’ of social media, found out what works and what doesn’t, what people respond to and what they don’t.
What Inspired You to Develop Your Virtual Assistant Self-Study Program?
Clients, and more importantly, other VAs have expressed their desire to ‘replicate’ my business model. They are seeking answers for how to find their ideal clients and how to get their prospects to take action in working with them. I offer an entire process on how to move potential clients through the pipeline of getting to your website, having them fill out a ‘needs assessment’ questionnaire, and schedule their consult. I also share how to send a proposal that gets attention, how to properly follow up after sending your proposal, how to handle objections and, what to do when it’s a ‘ Yes’ and they become a client. I take you through this entire sequence in the program. I love sharing my successful strategies, my favorite resources, tips, and how-tos with my clients and most especially my fellow VAs.
What Impact Are Your Hoping to Make?
So many clients come to me after experiencing work with another VA (or several) who lacked the professionalism and the integrity required. It’s my hope that I can make an impact to ‘ Upscale’ the Virtual Assistant Community! There are some terrific VAs who have waiting lists of clients who want to work with them (like me), but it seems we are the exception and not the rule. Simply stated, there need to be more exceptional VAs in the marketplace! I have hired many VAs in my own business and although I’ve met and worked with some terrific people, I’ ve also been disappointed in some of the VAs who’ve expressed an interest in being part of my team. I have so much to offer the VA Community and I hope to make an impact in having your clients feel their money is well-spent and that their needs are being met consistently with the highest level of professionalism and integrity.

"Jaimie is the best VA I’ve ever had. She is the perfect role model for VAs. When you look up “virtual assistant” in the dictionary, I think you’ll find a picture of Jaimie. Just kidding of course, but she is the best. Jaimie really understands what a business owner needs. She thinks strategically, acts tactically, and executes flawlessly. I never have to worry about her completing an assignment or project on time and within budget. Jaimie acts with integrity and makes each client feel like her most important client. She is trustworthy and has great customer service skills. Many of my clients comment about her responsiveness and her friendly yet professional style. She has enhanced my company brand."
